Creating for artistic product in preparation of AOD 2012. I think I may need more ideas…!
I’ve told a few friends at school about AOD this year, to come and get their live commissions done. However, I do attend a business school so not many people were interested in Anime and games. If you’re going, do us all a favor and invite more friends to come!

I’ve attended AOD every year for the past few years now and it’s gotten a very good reputation now for being a fun con. It’s still very small though and I’d love to see it grow into something much larger. I remember when JTAF (Japantown Anime Faire) was still around, it took over the whole mall for the con. Too bad it’s gone now due to some rumored mishap but I’d love for AOD to grow in size just like that. :)
Last year and for a few cons I’ve been to, all I’ve been offering were live commissions. While it makes good money, I would like to maximize my potential to spread my name out with some art prints and crafts. I can also sell them while I’m busy with commissions so maybe this will be extra cash. Yippee!
These are the products I’ve got on the list so far for AOD:
- Live Commissions (Pencil, Ink, and Color Marker)
- Art Prints (Probably just postcard sizes)
- Pins (The ones above and other cute designs! 1″ dia.)
- Stickers (Free with a minimum $5 purchase)
- Phone Straps with adorable designs!
I’ve also made new business cards for this event. They’re mini cards by Moo. I should have put different designs on them like trading cards, haha. They will be given out to customers interested in getting a quote for future live commissions for online and offline. Moo has really high quality products for prints. :)
Leftovers will be sold online and at Fanime!
