Upon receiving an email yesterday of this brilliant iPad game’s release, I decided to download it as soon as possible. Though I managed to complete it sooner than the estimated time, I still think it was very fun.
Assassin’s Creed Recollection is by Ubisoft and it’s a great game for those interested in strategy and tactics. Overall, yes, it is a card game. I know, I know a lot of people hate card games, probably due to the Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh series but give this one a chance! (It’s free after all for a limited time.) And I absolutely love the Assassin’s Creed series.
The point of this game is to control two of the three “regions” with your “agents” and “sites“. The agents will block one another and gain some control of each region when you place them. You need ten points to gain control of a region. Sites also give you points but a lot of things can happen in between like they can “neutralize” your agents so i takes them out of the game completely or steal you agents. Or… they can just straight up kick you in the nuts.
What do you do then? Buy a “booster pack” and get better cards! You can get “credit” from winning your card battles then you can buy one of these packs with random cards in them.
These card battles can get very difficult, different enemies play different styles and you have to change your sequence (Your deck) often so you can get the right strategy to defeat them. Some of the examples are enemies that use all agents or all sites or some that even play just to keep you in “conflict“, that is when your agents fight each other at the same location in a region and they can get “neutralized“.
All and all, it’s a pretty confusing game and has a painfully long tutorial but it’s worth it if you have tactics and strategy but it can be a real time crusher. It also killed my iPad’s battery life with its amazing graphics. Which I LOVE.
Try it today if you’ve got an iPad. :D

sorry cardgame sux.
lol jk, cardgames ROCKS! I like strategy a lot, but I dont understand the hate towards Yu-gi-oh! or Magic, or any other Card Games. The complexity of Yugioh is amazing, if there’s something I enjoy to do the most is confront a realistic AI with endless possibilities and combinations. And in the case of Yugioh! I am not dissapointed, I have more hours in Yugioh! games than in any others so far, perhaps Fire Emblem which is also about Tactis but in a total different kind of game, though its not as complex as Yugioh! The only problem with Yugioh is the extremely ultrapowerful cards that makes collecting cards kinda pointless, and with the forbidden ones you have to keep constantly changing your deck.
And I dont think this game can reach the complexity of Yugioh! but maybe it can be more balanced, actually thats not so hard ;D. It’s a bit sad I dont have an iPad, else I would give it a try. Except that I havent played Assassins creed, I think I my friends contagiated me their prejudices towards this franchise and towards ubisoft. because I have really never played it. So I fear I would spoil the story, which is about some person who travels in time to his anscestors in order to become priest superheroes or something like that. Its better if I dont know what it’s about, when I find out what it is about it’s probably going to be totally different than I expected.
thanks for the information, and receive a cordial greet.
The E3 is in June!!! I hope you’re able to assist. Every person who works on game companies can.
